Friends of Dahomey National Wildlife Refuge, Inc. is an independent, not for profit corporation dedicated to supporting the primary purposes for which Dahomey National Wildlife Refuge was established.

The purpose of the Friends is to promote awareness and appreciation of the Dahomey NWR and to provide assistance to conservation efforts on the refuge. It shall recognize compatible wildlife-dependent recreational activities including hunting, fishing, wildlife observation, photography, and environmental education.

Friends shall be operated exclusively for charitable, educational, recreational and scientific purposes so as to help protect the natural and wildlife resources and habitat on the lands of the Dahomey National Wildlife Refuge.
